VICE-Principal's Message

Dear Xavierians,

As the Vice Principal of St. Xavier’s School, Tangrain, I am honored to address our vibrant student community. Our school is not just a place of academics; it is a nurturing ground for holistic development. Today, I urge each one of you to embrace discipline and actively engage in extracurricular activities—for they are the wings that will carry you to greater heights.

Discipline, my dear students, is the compass that steers your ship through life’s tempests. It is waking up early, completing assignments on time, respecting your teachers, and maintaining decorum. Remember, discipline is not a shackle; it is the key that unlocks your potential. When you follow a routine, you create space for growth and excellence.

Now, let’s talk about extracurricular activities. These are not mere diversions; they are avenues for self-discovery and skill enhancement. Whether it’s sports, music, art, or debate, participation in these activities enriches your life. Here’s why:

  1. Balanced Growth: Academics provide knowledge, but extracurriculars shape character. They teach teamwork, leadership, and resilience. So, don’t just be book-smart; be life-smart.

  2. Hidden Talents: Within each of you lies a treasure trove of talents waiting to be unearthed. Maybe you’re a budding poet, a chess prodigy, or a graceful dancer. Participate, explore, and surprise yourself.

  3. Stress Buster: Life can be overwhelming. Extracurriculars act as stress busters. A game of football, a melodious tune on the guitar, or a canvas waiting for your brushstrokes—they all rejuvenate your spirit.

  4. Friendships: The basketball court, the drama club, the gardening corner—they’re not just spaces; they’re where friendships bloom. Forge bonds beyond textbooks. Laugh, learn, and grow together.

  5. Confidence Boost: Standing on stage during an elocution competition or scoring a goal in football—these moments build confidence. They remind you that you’re capable of greatness.

So, my young Xavierians, let’s make a pact. Let’s be disciplined in our studies, respectful to our peers, and active participants in extracurriculars. Attend the morning assembly with pride, sing in the choir with passion, and kick that football with determination.

Remember, the journey of education is not a sprint; it’s a marathon. And in this marathon, discipline and extracurriculars are your running shoes. Lace them up, stride forward, and let’s create a legacy of excellence.

God bless you all!

With warm regards,

Sr Suchita Kindo FC, Vice Principal, St. Xavier’s School, Tangrain
